Katherine A. DeLaune, PhD
Dr. DeLaune is a licensed psychologist who has been in practice for more than 15 years. She works with adults, older adolescents and couples, treating primarily anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, and relationship problems.
Dr. DeLaune earned her undergraduate degree in English Literature at Rice University and earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Houston. Her residency program and post-doctoral training were completed at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, where she focused on substance abuse treatment and research.
Dr. DeLaune is a member of the Houston Psychological Association and a Past President of the organization. She has taught undergraduate courses in Psychology of Women and in Statistics at the University of Houston and has published a number of book chapters and journal articles in the areas of depression and substance abuse.
